Construction
RCB Group was engaged to provide end-to-end project and site management for the renovation and extension of an existing miner’s cottage, working closely with the owner-builder and collaborating with Lyric Architects throughout the project.
The works include front and rear extensions, raked ceilings, a combination of timber and aluminium windows, and an internal refurbishment incorporating a new bathroom and laundry. Recycled materials are being used extensively throughout to reduce the project’s environmental footprint while retaining the character of the original home.
RCB Group coordinated delivery through our trusted network of recommended local Newcastle trades, overseeing subcontractor management, programming, site coordination, quality control and overall project delivery from planning through to completion.
